Empowering the Patient



• Patients can now self refer via your Business Website or be invited to book an appointment by SMS invitation using a secure Patient Portal:
• The patient can see availability across your sites and using geolocation, determine the closest facility into which they can book an appointment, which is completed with a few quick clicks on their mobile device.
• Many private clinics do more than Radiology and the booking solution easily accommodates other procedures and consultations you may wish to offer patients
• Support of Multiple Languages - In certain regions such as Canada, support of multiple languages is required.  The Aptvision RIS can present information in the preferred language of the patient and completed forms and workflow in that language.
• Access procedure preparation, information videos, provide insurance details, pay if required, complete and sign forms and receive reminders about appointments.   This includes integration to WhatsApp® for reminders and confirmation of attendance messaging.
• Allow access and sharing of Results and Images:
• Patients can now access their results, including images and also share these digitally with their relatives or care team via secure time limited links

Radiologists are extremely busy, so at Aptvision we do everything we can to ensure an efficient workflow which includes:

• PACS or RIS based reporting.  We recommend RIS based  for the following reasons:
• Dynamically refreshing worklists for reporting and vetting all within the one application and workflow
• AI assisted worklist creation for prioritisation of reads
• Voice Recognition embedded directly into the reporting module with voice controlled template macros
• Workflow Orchestration:
• Automatic assigning of studies to Radiologists based upon work units, availability, specialty etc
• Peer review and double reading

Paperless Administration



Managing paper, be it referrals, appointment letters, consent forms, checklists, reports all consumes human time preparing and handling it. It also has a physical cost of production, postage/faxing and archiving. 

visionRIS is designed to be fully paperless:

• Orders can be received electronically from Ordercomms, or via email or fax
• Appointments and Preparation information is by default sent electronically to patients
• Consent forms can be digitally signed
• Patients can self attend using Kiosk based terminals
• SMS or Whatsapp appointment reminders are automatically scheduled
• Scheduling has built in intelligence, allowing the scheduling process to be centralised, efficient and geared towards optimising resources
• For radiographers and sonographers, access to all of the digital paperwork, previous imaging and reports, recording of dose and consumables as well as electronic signatures for LMP and consents/checklists are all included in the solution

About Aptvision



History:

Aptvision was founded in 2012, initially as a plugin capability to enhance scheduling for legacy RIS systems and web enablement of the patient journey.  It wasn't long before full end to end RIS solutions were being provided to the private and public sector in the UK, Ireland, Poland and Hungary.

National Citizen Facing scheduling services were deployed during the Covid-19 Pandemic across the whole of Northern Ireland for the HSCNI based vaccination services.

The company continues to grow and within the past 24 months has extended its reach with projects in Scotland, Spain and Denmark and with partner expansion with global providers such as Merge to engage new territories in North America and beyond.
